Several years ago my house was burgled, my Xbox 360, several controllers, and 15 or so games were stolen. This being one of the closest stores that would have such things, my dad called to inquire if they had any information on my Xbox. He told them the serial number from my Xbox and they informed him that it had been purchased buy the store. The store associate then told him that there was nothing they could do to help, even after acknowledging that they had purchased stolen goods. So in summation, if you purchase anything from this store, you may be buying stolen property. A few months later one of my friends saw my gamer tag online and talked to the kid playing on it. My friend asked the kid where he bought the Xbox, and he said that his dad bought it for him at this GameStop.

I went to this store and purchased a Playstation 4. The two gentlemen working the counter were both personable and got me out in a timely fashion. After playing the console for an hour, it shut down and refused to turn on. I returned, the next day, for an exchange. I was told that, because I had no video and it seemed to work in store, they could not make an exchange. Fair enough, I thought. I returned home and, after another hour or so, the issue returned. I made a video of the issue, and came back, the following day, to make a return. I was told by the employee, Ethan, I believe, that they could not return it; only exchange. After explaining to him that I had no intention of returning a fourth time for what was supposed to be a brand new console that I'd only been able to play for a couple of hours in three days, I asked to speak to the district manager. I received no call, in the next two days, and returned again. They offered an exchange and I took it, planning to sell the new one and cut my losses on the two games that I'd originally purchased and already opened. The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly, but GameStop is the single worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If you're going to go to one, this is the place to go. However I would advise you sell your old games online and make your purchases elsewhere. The one star is for the company, not the staff.
