The Fresh Market's pricing is competitive with Target on certain items, and with Whole Foods on others. For example, when I wrote this post The Fresh Market had prices on many dry goods that were comprable with Target, while their meat selection (at 3.99/pound for a responsibly sourced chicken breast) was actually the best price of all meat sellers (which im aware of) within a 10 mile radius
