  Thanks to running a business and being a millennial, I'm surrounded by computer screens almost all day, most days of the week, so after 26 years of having perfect vision, something started to seem off. Dr. Machen told me about how the light from the screens could have an effect on your eyes over time and I hadn't gotten a checkup in over a decade, so I decided to try them out. I don't have much experience with optometrists, but this one has to be the best there is. I was greeted with coffee and conversation, before being taken back to start the checkup (completely on schedule, might I add!). Dr. Machen is unbelievably knowledgeable and schooled me on a couple myths I had about how our eyes work. Although I'm never happy to spend money, I did end up needing glasses and you won't catch me anywhere else for my vision work. On-time appointments, friendly staff, and the owner even introduced himself! Thanks guys!

  Dr. Alexander did a very detailed exam my vision. It was much more thorough than I have had at either Costco or other cut rate places. The tests for glaucoma and peripheral vision were included as was retinal imaging. I spent a good deal of time selecting frames and never felt rushed.
